"Alien: Isolation" is set in 1979, 15 years after the events of the first "Alien" film. You play as Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, who is on a mission to find her mother's flight recorder. The game takes place on a space station called Sevastopol, which is orbiting the planet LV-426, the same planet where the alien creature from the first movie was discovered.
