Are You Happy Now -

Most people live in a state of "deferred happiness." We convince ourselves that we will be happy when the debt is paid, when the children grow up, or when we lose ten pounds. This creates a moving goalpost. When we reach the milestone, the initial rush of dopamine fades, and we quickly scan the horizon for the next requirement.
