"Avatar" (2009) is a science fiction epic film directed by James Cameron. The story revolves around Jake Sully, a paraplegic marine who becomes involved in a program that allows humans to control genetically engineered Na'vi bodies called "avatars." Jake's mission is to infiltrate the Na'vi and persuade them to leave their homes so that a mining corporation can extract valuable minerals from the area.
