He knew the risks. His friends called it "the dark side" of the game. On their private survival server, Leo was the builder, the one who spent weeks gathering resources for a single cathedral. But yesterday, a group of griefers had leveled it in minutes. They had used things he couldn't explain—flying through the air, hitting him from twenty blocks away, seeing through walls. He pressed 'G'. Suddenly, the world changed. The ground became transparent, revealing the veins of diamond and ancient debris hiding deep in the crust. Red boxes outlined the players currently laughing in the distance. He toggled "Flight" and "Killaura."

But as he hovered over the players who had ruined his hard work, his finger hovered over the left-click. The "Wurst" client gave him everything—power, revenge, sight. Yet, looking at the wireframe world, the magic was gone. The mystery of the caves was just a highlighted box. The challenge of the build was just a cheat code.
