In the English dub of the original Dragon Ball (titled " Ninja Murasaki is Coming! "), Goku’s ascent of the Red Ribbon Army’s takes a turn for the bizarre as he reaches the fourth floor. The Duel at Muscle Tower

The episode concludes on a cliffhanger. After his sword breaks, Murasaki tricks Goku into putting away his Power Pole for a "fair" hand-to-hand fight, only to throw a boomerang shuriken that hits Goku in the back of the head, leaving the young hero in a dangerous spot.
