He stood up, his legs shaking. He grabbed his bag and walked past the Show Stage. The three animatronics were back in their places, staring blankly at the front door.

Mike sat in total darkness, both doors open to save the final crumbs of electricity. He couldn't see the animatronics, but he could hear them. They were breathing. A low, mechanical wheeze that sounded hauntingly human. The power hit 0%.

The 6 AM chime echoed through the building. The sun began to bleed through the high windows of the dining area. Mike opened his eyes to find the office empty. No Freddy. No Bonnie. Just the smell of old pizza and the hum of the overhead lights turning back on. Five Nights at Freddys: 1993

Mike snapped to the monitors. He found the blue rabbit standing in the Backstage area, staring directly into the camera with empty, light-recessed eyes. There was no logic to it. The "servos locking up" excuse from the phone guy didn't explain how a 400-pound machine moved silently across a carpeted dining hall.

The phone rang. It was a pre-recorded message from a guy who sounded way too casual about the "quirks" of the job. He talked about "animatronic characters" and "life-threatening danger" in the same breath. Mike ignored the legal jargon, focusing instead on Cam 1A. He stood up, his legs shaking

The rabbit’s face was pressed against the reinforced glass of the office window. Its jaw unhinged slightly, revealing a second set of silver teeth deep inside its throat. Mike slammed the door button. The heavy steel shutter hissed shut with a definitive thud .

He switched to the Dining Area. Chica was there now, her beak hanging open, twitching rhythmically. Mike felt a cold sweat prickle his neck. He checked his power: 84%. He had to be careful. The Breaking Point Mike sat in total darkness, both doors open
