The film is an extremely faithful retelling of the 1994 classic. It follows , a young lion prince who idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and prepares for his royal destiny. However, Mufasa's brother Scar plots to seize the throne by orchestrating Mufasa's death and tricking Simba into believing he is responsible. Simba flees into exile, where he meets the carefree duo Timon and Pumbaa . Years later, he is reunited with his childhood friend Nala , who urges him to return home and reclaim Pride Rock from Scar's tyrannical rule to restore the "Circle of Life". Technical Features
