Day 1: The air in the facility tastes like ozone and artificial mint. The salt here is perfect, yet wrong. It doesn't dissolve; it hums. Day 4: They think I don't know it's a closed-loop system. The "Fresh" isn't from the outside. It’s recycled from us. Day 9: The salt is changing me. I can taste the thoughts of the technicians. They aren't worried. They are hungry. Day 12: If found, do not consume. The Tasty Fresh Salt is a trap. That's the setup
Dr. Aris Thorne, a freelance data archivist, usually ignored files without extensions, but this one intrigued him. Upon extracting it, he found only a small, executable text file: 🧂_manifest.txt .
Opening it, he found a diary, or perhaps a recipe, that made no sense:
